Illustration of ukado chai

Ukado Chai is a soul-warming traditional drink passed down through generations in Gujarati households. This isn’t just any ordinary tea – it’s like a warm hug in a cup, lovingly prepared the moment someone feels under the weather. What makes Ukado Chai special is that there’s no “right” or “wrong” way to make it. Every family has their own twist and spice combination they swear by. Some add extra ginger for a stronger kick, others include more turmeric for its golden goodness. It’s the kind of drink that tastes like home and works like medicine – but in the most comforting way possible.
